"blancmange/tfp crossover"

Chris:

Tuesday's Comic

There comes a time in every webcomic's life that it seems to have to do an obligatory crossover. Of course there are exceptions to this rule, but they are of a different stature in the webcomic community. Being *cough* *hack* humble, much more myself than Mark decided to make the best of an oppertunity, and crossover with The Furman Perspective. Simon and I have begun to build one of those things... more than an aquaintance... a shed I think. We're becoming fast shed. Anyway...

As well as linking to TFP for the crossover, I think I may host the strips here. Not to deny Simon your patronage - it's just that I've found there to be server issues there... But as it were, this is Tuesday's Comic. Read this before I update on Wednesday. Just to be civil...

Even though the content may not exhibit such - this webcomic is going on 6 months old. Energies back then were scattered and meaningless. Now it's as focused as the lens of a Manhattan Peeping Tom's telescope on the lush, supple curves of... I've forgot what I was talking about. In any event, I've decided to catch up for lost time. Until I recoup all of the lost comics that may have been (if they had been done 2 a week), I'm going to crunch out a Wednesday comic as well. Of course it will have a detriment on the quality of script and art - but not to such an extent as some of those icky daily dealies. So if I keep on course... there should be 25 weeks of 3 comics weeks until I make up the deficit (I should have 48 comics by now - not 23). Oh God... that's until early 2003. Well that's what I get for having a life.

Oh - and at some point in time, I'm planning on getting some drawing lessons. It's all well and good to feign talent, but I'd like to create comics where I have more control over the end product of each one. That won't be for a fair spell unfortunately, so I'll just have to keep doing character studies and refining what little I have in technique. And there's this week's self-depreciation out of the way.

And I'd like to say a HUGE thanks to Matt Boyd, who finally listed the other guest strips that didn't make the cut - and lo and behold, blancmange appears second on the list. I'd of course like to take this in the most positive light possible considering it was submitted 4 days late. The link be here.

Remember at Riann's messageboard I'm having the weekly polls. I really suggest you go pay it a visit poste haste and start voting. Forum. Linked in border. Use.

And did I mention that this is Tuesday's Comic?
