"5th comic, 5th artist?"

Chris:

ADDENDUM: I still love this comic. One of my early favourites. It's just silly and nostalgic. Oh, and as you are all undoubtedly aware: it's SIX degrees of separation. Not five.

Other than the fact that this is a real life comic, (of sorts. I did come up with all of those ideas to some greater or lesser extent,) and inspired by those wonderful Mac Hall boys, there isn't much to say. My style is slowly becoming more dynamic and expressive. Melikes. I'll have a large rant on Monday to compensate for my lack of time.

To thine self be true... and COME BACK

"i want blood"

Mark:

A few years back a few of us sat around in an empty clasroom at our highschool and brainstormed game concepts we wanted to see made. I recall making several suggestions, most of which were ridiculed. But these three got a better reaction. The first was Soccer Riot 2000. An FPS in which you could re-enact famous soccer riots of world history. It could be played online with thousands of others, all decked out in team colours and beating the absolute crap out of one another.

The second was Pillage That Village. An RTS in which you are in control of a bunch of vikings. You start off with only one longboat, but you can recruit more with the loot from pillaging, and end up with a fully fledged Viking Horde. Starting out raiding villages, ending up raiding massive castles. Everything not nailed down could be looted, from grain, to gold, to women. And everything nailed down could be destroyed.

My final idea was Sim P.O.W. camp. I had just sat through The Great Escape again, and thought it would make a great RTS. One side has to try and escape, gaining resources, researching new escape techniques etc. The other has to research and build better ways to hold the P.O.W.'s. After a little consideration, I realized how this game could possibly get a little "out of hand". So I added the stipulation that the side running the camp could not break the Geneva convention. I think this was the best of the three.

There is presently no hope for these games. I freely admit this. We live in a world where stupid loud "moral" minorities can censor the blood lusting masses. I just hope that one day I shall see my twisted dreams realized. Fear that day.
