"kill me now"

Chris:

UPDATE: Wednesday - Of course, I know there should be a comic up there right now, but I've been busy. Pretty damn busy actually, what with my new toys. Of course I found the time to exorcise one of the empty spaces I left, and rescan a few more comics. Looks better now. And "repair" the Fanart section. That is, I haven't gotten around to scanning the Fanart I have. Well I should have the comic done in the next few days. Trav and I spent a good deal of time putting together the new rig, and then it turns out it's the wrong motherboard. Yay.

UPDATE: Saturday - So the banner's now done, and the Dossier's been updated, (in some respects downgraded, but it'll make sense in months to come). Because Mark and I couldn't agree on how the banner should exactly be, I just made different versions of the same banner. Just like everything else, it's simple. All of which are in the Stuff section. The day I do something overly elaborate is the day I fall back into old habits. Now all that's left to do is clean up some of the old comic scans, and replacing the Dead Days. That will happen as I continue to update, so I'll prompt that with links.

Right. I've resurfaced, after drowing in code for the last three days. I've gone back and cleaned up a lot of different things in the site, which you are all too lazy to look for yourselves undoubtedly. I've made all of the archived pages forwards compatible, fixed broken links, cleaned up the vert malalignments, tidied up some keenspace trash, tidied up the Stuff and Links page, removed parts of rants that never needed to be there, removed broken links, removed non-comics, gotten the AV Con rants done (yet to get those pictures), added a Fanart gallery for all of those that wish to send things in, updated the META, having the Dossiers rewritten... Look, I even went to the trouble to remosaic one of the pictures in the Sentimental Shooting review.

So of course I wouldn't have done all of this without a reason. The reason being soon the site will be a lot more automated than ever before. Which means it will be slightly automated. But at least rants will be updated via the Web, rather than my keyboard.

Oh, apparently there's some problems understanding the driving comedy behind the current James arc. I'm pretty sure it will be amended in the Dossier, but for all of those who want to know now: this is pretty much it.

James is a subversive, vertically challenged man. He's got a filthy mind, and commonly acts out on his thoughts through art, and personal hygiene. He's unkept, and personifies smut. He goes about it all with a dose of naivity: oblivious to the fact that his way isn't socially accepted. Well, that's how his character is, anyway. That should help to explain this arc. Mark and I forgot that we hadn't even had an intro arc for him, and he just appeared here and there during the comic.

Oh well, it shouldn't really happen too often anymore. Characters will be fleshed out as we go along, and the Dossier page will clear up any misconceptions and confusion. Of course, that's when the Dossiers are actually updated.

Now, I'm off to complete the rest of the list I have. Crap.
