When you want a pleasant parallel of East and West, or a satirical reflection of Western culture in Eastern media, one can't go past Anime. Because my experience in this media is rather restricted, I did introduce Mark to it, who in our webcomic family here is probably now the most well versed in such matters. Plot holes and escapism aside, this genre of media has a widespread appeal, but most mainstream animes will NOT be reviewed here. Well, as far as Australian television goes... And if it's not subbed, it's commonly crap.
